PANELIST BIOGRAPHIES

Phyllis Tichinin

As an Eco nutritionist, Phyllis looks for the patterns that link soil health, food nutrient density and human well-being. She specialises in coaching farmers to grow foods that heal both people and the planet. Given the economic disparities and suffering that result from Dualist extractive philosophies, she is increasingly Animistic in my perspective and believes we’d all be better off if we viewed the economy as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Environment.

 

Lisa Baptista

Lisa has been an influencer in chiropractic education and patient management for close to 30 years. As an educator, her ability to reach eager and absorbing young minds in this domain is unmatched by combining transactional health and chiropractic philosophy together. Lisa has been recognized with awards as International Alumnus of the Year and numerous Teacher of the Year honors. She has been instrumental in chiropractic politics as President of the Hawaii Chiropractic Association and Council Member of the New Zealand Chiropractic Association. Currently, Lisa a lead member of the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging Committee at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. 

 

Daphne Thompson, PhD

Daphne Thompson practiced Chinese Medicine for 12 years. She specialised in chronic health conditions where clients had not responded to Western biomedical treatment. The clinic was busy and enjoyed a good reputation in Ballarat Australia.

The Clinic Connecting Medicine drew on both her degrees in western biomedical research and her degree in Chinese Medicine to forge new paradigms for chronic health conditions.

 

She has a PhD in Microbial Metabolism of the Gut and Post-doctoral work in food microbiology with 25 Refereed Papers. She has continued her studies focusing on Classical Herbal Chinese Medicine and studied 4 Schools of Acupuncture.

 

Dawn Dalili, ND

Dr. Dawn Dalili is a Naturopathic Physician. She is the founder of the Montana Center for Vibrant Living, which serves women and men from around the country with concerns of hormonal or metabolic imbalance. In addition to over 10 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dalili has training in Eating Psychology, Neurolinguistic Programming, and Hypnosis. She uses these tools to support her patients in experiencing lasting breakthroughs in health and vitality. 

 

Dr Gary Ward MBBS, BSc, BMedSci

My qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (1973) with specific reference to evolutionary biology, genetics, and ecology; First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Medical Science in Sensory Physiology (1976) - a study of the intimate relationship between the brain and movement; Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery 1980 (equivalent to an MD). I offer help in planning and implementing the strategies and tactics to overcome the biological, linguistic, and transactional barriers to optimal health. I am a member of the Faculty of Influential U co-leading the Fundamentals of Transaction program, and I am a founding member of the board of the Institute of Transactional Philosophy.

 

Michelle Rowton, MSN, APRN, RNC-NIC, C- NPT, NNP-BC, CGP

Michelle has both Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees, after which she spent more than 18 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Michelle has received more than 2000 hours of continuing education in the area of functional, integrative, and traditional medicine. She believes the body is always trying to tell us something, and that we need to listen to what the body is trying to say and fix the problem, rather than cover up the symptoms.

 

Sarah Shepherd, Secretary & Programs Co-Chair

Sarah Shepherd is President of Circuit Rider of Colorado, LLC, providing executive management to Colorado Special Districts, non-profits and associations, since 2006. She also founded IMPACT Personal Safety of Colorado, a 501(c)3, in 2009 and serves as the President of the Board and various violence prevention organizations in Colorado and Internationally. Sarah proudly serves on the Board of Visitors and Governors of St. John's College, the "most forward-thinking, future-proof" and third-oldest college in America. 

 

Lauren Cato Robertson, MS, LMT, BCTMB, MTI, Programs Co-Chair

Lauren is a nationally (US) board certified licensed massage therapist and instructor. She is a practitioner of craniosacral, lymphatic, somatoemotional release and other gentle modalities that facilitate a process by which she facilitates release, self-correction, and healing for her clients. Lauren is a partner in Lantern Tree Media Development Group, holds a Masters of science degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and a Bachelors of Art in Restoration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, is an esteemed alumni of Influential U, and has studied extensively and is a teaching assistant with both the Upledger Institute and the Chikly Health Institute.
